The Majestic Coastal Redwoods

Remington had a chance to tell his big brother, Sebastian, who is in Servon-Melzicourt in France, about how well we did against the "Kitchen Sink" (see previous post)

We traveled to Muir Woods National Park just 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge!  It is an incredible valley that is home to a forest of coastal redwoods that are the largest living things on the planet - some growing well over 300 feet tall!

Wow!  Manon was hungry!  She finished her entire salad when we stopped at an organic grocer for dinner.

We saw these two hitchhiking along the highway.  Should we pick them up?

Distance traveled Day 9: San Rafael, CA to Muir Woods to Winnemucca, NV = 404 miles (650 km)
