Festival of Trees

Every year after Thanksgiving there is the famed Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for a local non-profit that helps adults with disabilities. Hundreds of members of the community build and decorate Christmas trees and those trees are auctioned off. As part of the festivities various groups sing, dance and read cherished holiday stories.

The theme this year was "Candyland" and the entrance smelled amazing with fresh gingerbread for making gingerbread houses.

What would a Christmas festival be without handmade candies?
Hundreds of trees and thousands of lights.
Remington and Katherine were part of the entertainment performing parts of The Nutcracker. Remington is the mischievous little brother Fritz and Katherine is a Jester. The actual performance is December 20th and it will be performed alongside the Rochester Symphony Orchestra. It will be a treat for the eyes and the ears!
