A Bella Christmas

After a morning of swimming and an afternoon of Nutcracker practice the girls and I attended A Bella Christmas, a beautiful all girl's choir concert by Bella Voce and Bella Fiore choirs. Katherine will be auditioning for the Bella Fiore choir before she leaves for France. It is a very special choir composed only of girls ranging in ages from 11-14. The choir focuses on girl development and esteem building as well as outreach projects such as ending modern slavery and poverty. It is a choir dedicated to helping the girls find their voice, both in singing and advocacy. The concert was spectacular!
Velvet Christmas dresses from Nana and sister necklaces from Mom helped make the evening special.

After the concert and as we were already downtown, we left to hear the bells of the Plummer Building carillon. Here is a picture of the Mayo brothers on the Mayo Clinic.
An absolutely beautiful evening.
We grabbed a blanket from the car and headed closer to the tower.
Sweet, sweet music.
